“I wanted to take an opportunity to commend Mona Wolfe for the great job she did representing me as a Seller in the recent sale of my home in Zionsville. Even in such a difficult selling market, I had lots of showings and favorable comments due in large part because of Mona’s great job in marketing the house. I compared my listing with others on the websites and was very impressed with how my home was presented.
I’m sure all home buying and selling experiences are unique. Although I anticipated that the house would be on the market considerably longer than it was, an offer was actually received within about 3 weeks of listing, which made it seem just too easy for her commission. However, once the offer was received, the Buyers proved to be pretty difficult to work with, and that’s when Mona really showed her stuff. Although the Buyers came away from the transaction with an impression that Mona was “difficult to work with,” if she was so, it was because they put her in a position where she had to represent me in a more forceful way than she might otherwise. I appreciated having her in my camp and that she represented me while protecting me.
I also appreciated that Mona demonstrated that she had the experience to know what would (or wouldn’t) work but that she was willing to accommodate my needs or ideas. In my particular situation, I was dealing with so much in coordinating the move while my partner was already out of state and maintaining my very demanding job, I needed Mona to “spare me the details” and just do what needed to be done. She did a great job, while also dealing with a personal situation that could have distracted her from taking care of business.
There was a particular point in the negotiations where I was pretty frustrated and had a couple of tense phone calls with Mona. Even at the time I was venting, I noted how well she maintained her calm and didn’t over-react to my over-reacting. I really can’t say enough about how well she handled the entire transaction.
